Future Facebook Changes
The future of Facebook is changing yet again. This time the update is going to be dramatic. With the addition of a "timeline," Facebook hopes to put everyone's life on the web, including the music and movies they are currently listening to. Mark Zuckerburg believes that the last five years have been about getting people on to Facebook and now he wants to revolutionize social networking with the integration of many music and movie companies.
I look at this future change to the website as something good. Although many people complain about the constant changes to the website I see them as something good. It means our baby is growing up. Facebook has been the top dog in the social networking business for quite some time now and aside from a few minor upgrades nothing on the site has changed all the much. This "timeline" will allow us to become more aware of different music around us, such as indie groups or other genres of music, as well as movies that we may otherwise never have heard of.

Know Your Meme: Like A Boss
Although it has been almost two years since the Lonely Island released their "Like A Boss" single, it is still one of the biggest memes on twitter. People are constantly showing their success in activities with the the hashtag saying of "#LikeABoss."
Although Lonely Island made the saying "Like A Boss" popular in 2009, people were already searching it on the web due to the Slim Thug song of the same name. That is one of the interesting things about this group. They are able make consistently funny parody videos for popular songs of the past.
Many people probably wonder how the Lonely Island got so famous so quickly. Well, two members of the group Akiva and Jorma are writers for Saturday Night Live and Andy is an actor on the show. They do the Digital Shorts for the program and had large success with one of their first hits, "Dick in a Box." From then on the Digital Shorts have become the standout section of the program and for me personally are the only part that I even enjoy watching. Unless Justin Timberlake in on the show, then its pure hilarity from beginning to end (the guy is a comedy king).
Being a fellow Lonely Island fanatic I find this internet meme to be quite humorous. The group has numerous viral videos including "Jizz in My Pants", "I'm on a Boat" and "Jack Sparrow." Hopefully they can continue down the road they are on and keep entertaining us with their genius take on the music business.
